Help shape the future of the EU

Do you have thoughts on the future of the EU? Read on to find out how you can make a difference by participating in the EU's consultation on Interreg after 2027.

The survey is your possibility to influence the development of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. By sharing your ideas, concerns, and visions, you can help shape the future and the cooperation between Denmark, Sweden, and Norway that you want to see.

Why are we asking about the future now?

The discussion on the future of the Interreg programs is already taking place at the EU level. By completing the survey, your feedback will directly impact the future of these programs before any decisions are made. You’ll have the chance to share your thoughts on which issues you believe should be the focus of future cooperation.

The survey is open until October 31, 2024.

What is Interreg?

Environmental challenges, unemployment, and declining birth rates are examples of societal problems that are similar across Scandinavia. Therefore, they should be addressed collectively. Denmark, Sweden, and Norway have joined an EU program that provides funding for tackling these challenges through cross-border collaboration: Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak.

From 2021 to 2027, stakeholders can have up to 60 percent of their projects funded when working with partners in Sweden and Norway. They can apply for funding from a pool of over 1 billion Danish kroner, across four themes: Cross-border Labor Market, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Transport and Mobility, and Green Transition.
